Traci Johnson Wins Am. Staff. Assoc. Women in Leadership Scholarship

Johnson One of Eight Recipients of National Award

Cincinnati, OH, August 8, 2023— BelFlex today announced that Regional Director Traci Johnson has been awarded a Women in Leadership Scholarship by the American Staffing Association.

“Traci is a natural leader who does everything with a people-first mentality. With this scholarship opportunity, I know she will share her knowledge not only within her region, but across our organization. She is what leadership is all about,” said Bob Baer, Chief Operating Officer, BelFlex. “She lives our Succeeding Together mission each and every day”

Traci is currently the Regional Director for Central Kentucky/Indiana at BelFlex Staffing Network. She serves her community as an ambassador for the One Southern Indiana (1si) Chamber of Commerce and economic development organization. In this role she helps promote a more vibrant and profitable business environment for all. She’s also on the board of directors for the Center for Lay Ministries in Jeffersonville, IN.

Traci has been with BelFlex since 2018, starting as a branch manager and quickly rising to regional leadership in just two years. She’s held her current role as Regional Director since November 2020.

Established in 2020, the Women in Leadership Scholarship program honors rising stars who show exemplary professional growth potential and a commitment to a career in the staffing and recruiting industry. Traci is one of just eight awardees chosen from across the country. This year, the scholarship program fielded the largest number of applications in its history.

“The Women in Leadership scholarship program empowers and supports talented women, fostering their development as future leaders,” said Lenore Convery, chair of the ASA Women in Leadership Scholarship program task force. “Congratulations to Traci, and we look forward to welcoming her in Charlotte.”

Each recipient will attend two ASA events at no charge: THRIVE Live, Oct. 2-3, and Staffing World® 2023, Oct. 3-5. Both events are taking place at the Charlotte Convention Center.

These scholarships are made possible with the support of Women in Leadership interest group sponsors, with special recognition to the 2022 Women in Leadership scholarship winners, Joanie Bily, author of Dive In D.E.E.P., the authors of Together We Rise, and additional other donors who have supported this program. Generous proceeds from Dive In D.E.E.P. and Together We Rise book sales supported additional scholarships this year.
