New leadership team additions reinforce the company’s commitment to supporting and advancing women in the workplace

May 8, 2023, CINCINNATI, Ohio – BelFlex Staffing Network, a staffing and flexible workforce solutions firm serving the manufacturing and logistics industries, is pleased to announce the promotions of Christine Adams to Vice President of Risk & Compliance; Amber Hyman to Vice President of People & Culture; and Kristy Pierce to Vice President of Finance & Accounting. The organization also welcomes Amanda Russo to the new role of Vice President of Marketing. Adams, Hyman, Pierce, and Russo will serve BelFlex and its sister organization, Intellex.

“We are thrilled to welcome Christine, Amber, Kristy, and Amanda to the BelFlex leadership team,” says Bob Baer, BelFlex Chief Operating Officer. “These moves are a testament to our commitment to support and promote women in the workforce. Christine Adams is a valued member of our family and has grown and thrived in everything she has done during her almost 15 years with BelFlex. Amber has made tremendous strides in growing our organization and leading our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. Kristy believes in challenging her team in a positive way and encourages others to step out of their comfort zone while offering them guidance and mentorship. And, at the helm of our marketing and branding efforts, Amanda will underpin many strategic initiatives as she pushes our brands forward.”

Christine Adams has been a leader with BelFlex since 2009 and most recently served as Director of Risk & Compliance. As Vice President, she will continue assisting clients with workers compensation, unemployment compensation, Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), and vendor management. As an expert in mitigating risk, she specializes in advising clients on laws and regulations to help them maintain compliance. Adams will work closely with key business areas and the BelFlex executive team to provide guidance on critical company decisions. She is eager to embrace this new role, expand her skills, maintain and grow the organization’s best-in-class approach to risk and claims management, and build new initiatives that support the company’s growth.

Amber Hyman will continue leading the Payroll and People & Culture teams while taking on additional responsibilities, including the company’s DE&I initiatives. Since joining BelFlex in 2020, Hyman has made tremendous strides in growing the company. She has launched several organization-wide initiatives including Goal to Rise, Overcome, Win (GROW) which has helped more than 20 women at BelFlex rise up and advance within the company. Hyman also launched the company’s Early Wage Access Program, allowing talent to be paid up to 40% of their previous day’s wages. She was named to the 2022 Global Power 150 list by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) and top 100 leaders to watch in 2023 from Candidate.ly World Staffing Awards. She is a member of the American Staffing Association (ASA) IDEA group, Black Women in Staffing, and a volunteer in her local community. Hyman is the first Black woman to hold the position of Vice President in the company’s history.

Kristy Pierce, in her expanded role, will work closely with corporate and field leadership to provide financial guidance as BelFlex makes key decisions. Additionally, she will identify and implement financial technology solutions that build synergies between front and back-office operations. A volunteer with the ASA Mentor Match Program, Pierce was awarded the 2022 ASA Women in Leadership Scholarship, which is committed to elevating all women into their next level while promoting and advocating allyship. She is a member of the Institute of Managerial Accountants and Financial Executives International Cincinnati.

Amanda Russo brings more than a decade of marketing, brand strategy, and customer engagement experience to BelFlex. As the organization’s first Vice President of Marketing, she will collaborate closely with all departments to strengthen the company’s market position and drive revenue. Russo spent the last six years on the marketing agency side, most recently as Vice President of Client Marketing at ClearEdge Marketing. Before that, she was an in-house marketing manager in IT Staffing for five years. She is energized by the possibilities for sales and marketing alignment and the impact that marketing leadership will have on the organization.

Adds Baer, “Christine, Amber, Kristy, and Amanda embody our Succeeding Together mission, which underpins everything we do. They are committed to delivering flexible workforce solutions that help people, organizations, and communities succeed. The future is bright with these women helping lead our organization into the future.”
