BelFlex’s Amber Hyman Named to Global Power 150 Women in Staffing List

The SIA award recognizes women who have made remarkable contributions in the staffing industry to build their communities and DE&I initiatives

Cincinnati, Ohio – November 16, 2022 –  Amber Hyman, Human Resources Director for BelFlex, a staffing and flexible workforce solutions firm in the commercial and professional services industries, was named to the 2022 Global Power 150 list by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). SIA is the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, its eighth annual Global Power 150 list recognizes the most influential women in the staffing industry for 2022 throughout the Americas and internationally. Amber is the first woman of color to serve as Human Resources Director at BelFlex and is revered for her ambition, tenacity, and compassion for others.

Since joining BelFlex in 2020 and kickstarting her staffing career, Amber has made tremendous strides in growing the organization. She has launched several company-wide initiatives including Goal to Rise, Overcome, Win (GROW) which has helped 20+ women at BelFlex rise up and advance within the company. Amber also launched the company’s Early Wage Access Program, allowing talent to be paid up to 40% of their previous day’s wages. There are currently 300 employees in the program with the goal of adding a few hundred more in the coming months. 

In addition to the contributions she’s made at BelFlex, Amber has a deep passion for financial literacy that she instills in the youth in her community. On the Ohio Challenge committee she serves as the volunteer coordinator and promotes the importance of giving back to the community. She also serves as an administrator for the Cardinal Premier Soccer League where she ensures young players have the resources and support they need to play confidently and safely. Furthermore, Amber partners with her local school system to teach students how to manage their finances, understand their paychecks, and use their earnings wisely.
