Pioneer Auto Tech, Inc. Offers Incentives for Existing & New Employees

Company is working with BelFlex to recruit for positions that now offer increased hourly wages, earned time off and earned paid holidays

Springboro, OH and Cincinnati, OH – January 16, 2019 – Pioneer Automotive Technologies, Inc. (“Pioneer”) announced today that as of January 1, 2019, it has increased all long-term, hourly wages by up to 10 percent, and for the first time will offer both existing and newly hired contract employees up to six days of earned time off at its Springboro, Ohio facility. Pioneer and its global family of companies under Pioneer Corporation in Japan are leaders in the supply of infotainment devices, components and systems. The company has also partnered with BelFlex Staffing Network (“BelFlex”), a staffing and flexible workforce solutions firm in the commercial sector, to offer an additional earned five paid holidays to its contract employees. BelFlex will manage hiring with applications being accepted and processed at its Middletown, Dayton and Lebanon, Ohio branches.

“Manufacturing companies in Ohio continue to add jobs, but are confronted with a tight labor market, especially in areas where many of our employees come from, including Warren, Butler and Montgomery counties,” said Steven Moerner, Pioneer’s President. “To be competitive, Pioneer and BelFlex will jointly offer a more attractive incentive package with increased salaries, earned paid time off and earned paid holiday time. The goal is to reward our existing contract employees for their loyalty and appeal to new prospects, including those who recently ended holiday seasonal jobs.”

Open positions at Pioneer include long-term production assembly, warehouse and forklift career opportunities. Workdays are Monday – Friday during first shift hours of 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with possible overtime until 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturdays. New hourly pay rates range from $11.50 – $13.75 per hour based on job title and experience. Under the new incentive package, contract employees are eligible to earn one day of time off for every 60 days of perfect attendance. BelFlex also offers referral bonuses.
