BelFlex Beliefs: Sharing our Success

Mike McCaw & Candace McCaw Mike McCaw & Candace McCaw 26 July, 2017

Making success contagious is part of our DNA

In this blog series, we share how each of our core beliefs drives our business and influences the way we interact with our clients and temporary workers. They serve as the foundation for achieving our mission of providing flexible staffing solutions that help people, organizations and communities succeed. Don’t miss our earlier posts on the power of people, dedication and responsiveness, turning challenges into solutions, and focusing on relationships.

Our fifth and final Core Belief states our commitment to sharing our success. We are a caring, community-minded organization that aims to make a positive impact while pursuing the growth of our enterprise.

Because of our line of work, we feel we have a unique perspective, access and opportunity to make a difference in the communities we serve. Our partnerships with customers mean we have a window into the challenges, issues and concerns of local businesses. And, by getting to know the people that these businesses employ, we’re able to understand firsthand what they need to be successful.

We take this knowledge into consideration when we develop new programs aimed at serving our communities. Initiatives like the BelFlex Junior Mentoring Program is a great example of this. We saw a real need in one of our markets to help high schoolers become better prepared to enter the workforce. Thus, we created the BJMP to help instill confidence in these young adults and improve their chances of being successful.

We also look for ways to partner with organizations that share our common goals, in an effort to amplify our impact. The newly launched LIFT the TriState program is our latest effort, unveiled just this week. We’re proud to join forces with Logistics, Inventory Management, Facilities Management and Transportation (LIFT) and other local organizations including Freestore Foodbank, Gateway Community and Technical College and the Life Learning Center for this free, 12-week training program based in Northern Kentucky. Read more about how BelFlex is supporting LIFT the TriState in our press release.

Ultimately, our goal is to connect people with work opportunities and, in turn, improve the communities in which we do that. When we’re successful and the businesses we serve are successful, it opens the door for more work opportunities and prosperity for the entire community.
