BelFlex Wins 2020 Medical Community Pillar Award for Community Service
Award honors businesses that make outstanding contributions to the community
Cincinnati, OH – December 12, 2019 – BelFlex Staffing Network (BelFlex), a staffing and flexible workforce solutions firm in the commercial sector, is a recipient of the 2020 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service, presented by Smart Business. The Pillar Award is meant to encourage charitable work, recognize creative efforts that make a difference and demonstrate the ties between the for-profit and nonprofit worlds. This is the second time BelFlex has been recognized with an award, having received the Medical Mutual SHARE Award in 2017. Recipients will be honored at a banquet on January 15, 2020, at the Duke Energy Center in downtown Cincinnati.

BelFlex was recognized for two programs in the Cincinnati area. LIFT (Logistics, Inventory Management, Facilities Management and Transportation) the TriState was developed with the Freestore Foodbank, one of Ohio’s largest food banks, and Gateway Community and Technical College, to provide unemployed and underemployed adults with the skills needed to work in the warehouse, logistics and transportation industries. The BelFlex Junior Mentoring Program brings together local business and community leaders to help high school students understand the process of identifying and securing meaningful employment.
Additionally, BelFlex has partnered with multiple organizations in the communities in which it serves across the Midwest, South and Southeast U.S. Through volunteerism, charitable donations and outreach, the BelFlex team averages more than 2,400 volunteer hours annually and donates time and money to more than 50 organizations across 10 states.
