BelFlex Drive-Thru Job Fair: Jobs at Caterpillar’s Sanford, NC Plant
Interviews will take place at Center for Workforce Innovation on Wednesday, September 23, 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. EST
Sanford, NC – September 15, 2020 – BelFlex Staffing Network (BelFlex), a staffing and flexible workforce solutions firm in the commercial sector, will host a drive-thru job fair on Wednesday, September 23, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST to recruit for positions at the Caterpillar facility in Sanford, NC. Interviews will take place in the parking lot of the Center for Workforce Innovation at Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) located at 5910 Enterprise Park Drive, Sanford, NC 27330. Job seekers will be directed to drive up to a tent where they will remain in their cars as BelFlex recruiters conduct a brief registration and screening process. To stay in compliance with local and federal guidelines, BelFlex is requesting candidates wear a face covering for the interview. They should also bring a resume.

The BelFlex positions at Caterpillar include production assembly technicians, forklift operators, heavy equipment operators, welders and fabricators with a starting pay rate of $12.00+ per hour depending on the job and skill level. Employees receive custom, hands-on technical and safety training and have ample opportunity to work overtime between now and January, earning time-and-a-half pay. - Must pass a background check
- Forklift operators need previous experience, preferably in narrow aisle reach lift
- Possess mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic
- Be able to handle physical demands and 10-hour shifts
- Have troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
