Responsibilities to include, but not limited:
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory
- Works to continuously improve inventory accuracy and material handling processes
- Assist Shipping and Receiving with incoming and outgoing deliveries. Will act as a backup to Shipping and/or Receiving Coordinator in their absence.
- Perform routine cycle counts as directed.
- Perform operator level daily inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Is an ambassador of safety. Protects self and others from hazards. Proactively reduces risk of injury.
- Verify accurate product identification labeling is maintained on all product inventory throughout the life of the inventory
- Will always maintain an emphasis on safety and quality.
- At times, will oversee and direct temporary, assistant material handlers.
- During slow periods, will assist in other areas to include, but not limited to, production, maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
