Responsibilities and Duties
Degreasing, air testing, sanding for braze.
- Grinds or chips rough edges, surplus weld, or scale.
- Transports and furnishes materials, tools, and supplies.
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Assist in other departments with supervision
- Operate a powered, industrial truck.
- All other duties as assigned.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following
- Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Equipment Selection – Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Time Management – Managing one’s own time and the time of others.
- Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Language – Must be proficient in English. Reading, comprehending and understand the English language.
