Major Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, client-side software applications, and printers connected to a dynamically changing network infrastructure and MRP system.
- Navigate Active Directory to maintain computers, users, security, and access privileges.
- Document client-side software installations and hardware inventories.
- Perform general technology needs analysis.
- Assist IT staff with network infrastructure issues and needs.
- Explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
- Onsite and remote assistance of warehouse facility with desktop, printer, and handheld scanner issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- 3 years of IT experience in a manufacturing facility.
- IT Certifications preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Windows Desktop OS, Active Directory, NTFS, LAN/WAN concepts.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
- Familiarity of MRP workflows, handheld scanners, printers, and software structure.
- Must be able to move and lift up to 40 pounds, ability to sit at a desk and move about the facility for long periods of time.
