Warehouse Picker

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking: Accurately pick products from shelves based on order tickets or electronic systems, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
• Product Handling: Safely handle and move products using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed. Ensure proper storage and organization of items within the warehouse.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage before packing. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Packing and Labeling: Pack products securely and label packages accurately for shipment. Prepare items for transportation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment. Report any inventory discrepancies or shortages.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Assist with training new employees as needed.

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret order tickets and labels. Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in picking and packing orders.
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
