General Summary
The Dock Auditor is responsible for finalizing shipments to customers ensuring shipment is complete and ready for shipping.  This position is part of an internal team working towards a common goal to insure quality parts are shipped on time, in full and error free.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Complete visual quality inspections
  • Verify part to blue print when necessary
  • Count shipments/parts accurately
  • Scan shipments into data system
  • Confirm packaging meets customer requirements
  • Use the Kanban card system
  • Assure the parts are ready for the appropriate scheduled truck
  • Communicates status and issues continually
  • Identify what can ship and what must be held
  • Follow SWI, policies/procedures
  • Comply with EHS requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
 
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to adapt to immediate changes
  • Must multi task
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Knowledge of Computers
  • Sit-down and Stand-up Forklift Experience

Credentials and Experience
 
  • Warehouse experience in related industry is preferred
  • Must be able to lift 45lbs
  • Stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Must be able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
