Experience with upholstery installation is helpful but not required. Hand tool, assembly, and ability to pay attention to detail is a must. We will train the right people for this role.

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Thursday 7:00 am-4:30 pm

Friday: 7:00am- 11am

Hourly Wage:

$16-18 Depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for sewing fabric/leather/vinyl chair covers.

  • Following the directions of lead sewer
  • Sew fabric, leather, and vinyl covers for chairs, sofas, and loveseats
  • Ability to match pieces of cut material together and sew with appropriate stitch to produce quality cover
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to Sew 25% of product styles at plus 90% efficiency

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in upholstery sewing
  • Ability to thread sewing machine and make simple adjustments
  • Ability to operate single stitch, double stitch, serge, and tunnel the sewing machines.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs
  • Ability to distinguish color and shades
  • Straight pulling
  • Depth perception
