Belflex has Partnered with a local Manufacturer in Jacksonville and is looking for a Set-up Tech.
Day shift 6AM 230pm
Second shift  2PM 1030PM
Pay $21.00
Job description
The Set-up Tech is responsible for setting up and changing over all CNC machines as required to meet production goals and will be required to operate a CNC machine when not performing set-ups or changeovers.  Understands blueprints and written specifications.  Skillfully uses all machinist’s hand tools and measuring instruments.  Possesses knowledge of shop mathematics.  Capable of shaping metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions and finishes. Must be able to operate one or more machines as required to meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.
Requirements
Be familiar with how to set-up, change over, and operate all machines to meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.
Train machine operators on change overs/set-ups
Be able to lift 5 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Be familiar with the various metals, speed, and feeds to be used in machining.
Be able to communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, inspectors, etc.
Be able to see, read, and write in order to comprehend safety warnings and do necessary paperwork.
Be able to walk around the plant to change machines, get blueprints, retrieve parts, etc.
Be able to stand 40 to 60% of the time in order to reach parts to load, unload, and inspect parts; to print; and to visually observe machine functions.
