Primary responsibility will be the installation and service of automated assembly equipment for our customers. Position is based in the Knoxville, TN area. Travel outside your area and willingness to travel some weekends and overnight is required. 2-5 days at a time—not weeks away from home.
This position requires:
• a self-starter with excellent customer service and communication skills;
• can work comfortably in a remote environment,
• is self-motivated/organized and operates without the need for direct supervision.
• strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment is required in trouble-shooting problems.
• two year technical degree plus 2-5 years’ experience; strong electronics background;
• minor PLC programming knowledge (AB, Omron preferred).
