Job Description:
You will be responsible for inspecting parts and products at various stages of production, including first piece, process, sampling, or final floor inspection. This role requires the use of precision measuring instruments and a keen eye for detail to ensure all parts meet specified standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diversified first piece, process, sampling, or final floor inspections of parts or products.
- Check parts or processes for conformity to drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
- Follow standardized inspection procedures and adhere to allowable variations.
- Notify the supervisor immediately in the event of excessive defects or non-conformance.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gage blocks, calipers, meters, indicators, and comparators to verify measurements.
- Document inspection results and assist in maintaining quality control records.
- Must have at least a year of quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to report findings effectively.
