Mechanical QA Inspector (Temp to Perm)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Start Date: September 12th, 2025
Schedule: Full Time | First Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Wage: Starting at $22.00/hr — Negotiable based on experience
Temp-to-Perm | Evaluation after 60 days for permanent status
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical QA Inspector with hands-on experience in precision metal fabrication. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity in a dynamic job shop environment. Ideal candidates will be dependable, mechanically inclined, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:

3+ years in Mechanical Inspection (preferably in precision metal fabrication/machining)

High School diploma or equivalent
-
Proficient with inspection hand tools
-
Computer literate
-
CMM experience a plus (including programming)

Must pass pre-employment screening (Tobacco- and Substance-Free facility)
Key Skills:

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

Metric ? English conversions

Fractions ? Decimals conversions

First & Third Angle Projection interpretation
-
Reading & interpreting blueprints/specs
-
Material inspection & nonconformance disposition

Calibration systems knowledge
-
Statistical inspection techniques
-
Certification documentation
-
Forklift/pallet jack experience
-
Able to lift up to 75 lbs
