Description
BelFlex is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity, with one of the highest quality custom dry ingredients blending companies in J-town, Ky. Working schedule Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, with OT on Fridays. Pay is $25.00/hour upon experience

Job Details and Duties
Performs building and grounds maintenance, plant equipment maintenance, and monthly preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues quickly to return production to normal levels.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required Troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, and industrial equipment issues
- Welding, plumbing, carpentry, framing, and general construction skills preferred
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in maintaining maintenance facilities
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English language
- Must be able to be on feet and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to bend and stop frequently
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work at elevations to 30′, with fall protection
- 2+ years’ experience in related maintenance
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
