Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PMPay: $18–$23/hour, based on experience (BOE)
Location: North Little Rock, AR
As a Steel Laser Technician, you’ll operate, maintain, and calibrate CNC laser systems to cut, weld, drill, and mark metal parts according to blueprints and technical specifications. Your role ensures top-level accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate laser machines to cut, weld, drill, and mark components.

Upload or input programs into CNC controllers for specific jobs.

Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Inspect finished parts visually and dimensionally to meet quality standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical or mechanical issues to reduce downtime.

Complete work orders and maintain accurate production/maintenance records.
Skills & Qualifications

Solid understanding of laser systems, optics, and CNC equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Hands-on experience with CNC laser cutting, welding, or marking equipment.

Knowledge of OSHA standards and laser safety protocols.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
Work Environment

Manufacturing facility with close collaboration between engineers and production teams.

Regular use of precision measuring tools and fiber optic laser systems.
