Laboratory Technician Lead
1st Shift Tues-Sat 6am-230pm
$21 + depending on experience
Requirements: 
– Bachelor's degree in Biology, Genetics – or higher
– Great attention to detail
– At least 1 year of laboratory experience
– Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
– Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis and data quality control.
– Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and best practices
– Excellent problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
– Proficiently carry out and oversee all lab processes ensuring optimal use of technology and resources
– Perform extraction, purification, and preparation for sequencing experiments
– Operate and maintain Oxford Nanopore sequencers
– Perform routine maintenance and calibration of sequencing equipment to ensure optimal performance
