Assembly/kitting Position. Here is a job description for the role. This role hand kits and uses a small machine once and a while.

- Participate in the continual development and improvement of warehouse standard operating procedures.
- Operate kitting machine and equipment designed to create kits/parts for assemblies, including set-ups and proper operation of machine.
- Create kits to meet customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot kitting machine issues/jams, work to resolve.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance is completed to keep equipment operating at optimal capacity.
- Perform general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, and supplies.
- Exhibit a personal commitment to accuracy and quality of work.
- May use a variety of hand tools to create assemblies to meet customer requirements.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
- Meet daily receiving, production, and shipment requirements.
- Take an active role in supporting and maintaining safety programs.
- Actively embrace and promote a positive work culture.
- Perform continuous bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with computer-programmed machines, with competency in machine set-up.
- Quality standards/ISO work environment experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fasteners and fastener inspection preferred.
- Ability to work with others in a manner that promotes teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external customers.
- Polite and professional manner.
- Time management skills, delegation skills, and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, well organized.
- Must be a self-starter and able to drive results with or without a great deal of direct supervision.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
- Able to communicate fluently in English.
