Job Details and Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts, balers, conveyors, densifiers, loaders, and other plant equipment
- Inspect and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, and safety systems
- Maintain accurate records and inventory of replacement parts
- Work with vendors on quality replacement parts
- Train operators on basic equipment maintenance
- Ensure all safety features and procedures are followed
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 7–10 years’ experience in mechanical/maintenance roles
- Welding (stick and wire feed) experience
- General knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical prints
- Must have own tools
- Ability to travel, work weekends/nights as needed
- Strong safety awareness and professional conduct
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Ability to work in varying climates and conditions
- May be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
