The Hot Sink Operator performs preliminary cleaning and inspection of products before it is processed by CMM and/or QC. They maintain both quality and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure that parts are clean before moving onto the next operation.
• Inspect parts for any cosmetic flaws.
• Drain and fill hot sinks as needed
• Perform basic maintenance tasks for the equipment
• Manage flow of material through the hot sink area
• Communicate any problems that are identified
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Knowledge: Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Abilities: Attention to detail, follow procedures and instructions, effective time management.

Skills: Working knowledge of controls. Must be able to operate hot sinks.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have 20/20 eyesight with or without corrective lenses.
