The CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products that meet their specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC Lathe machines to run production as needed
• Troubleshoot problems during CNC production to minimize non-conformances.
• When problems rise, notify the superior (Cell Lead)
• Use calipers, mics, indicators while performing setups to ensure machines and fixtures are set correctly
• Use basic math skills to determine and conduct tool offsets
• Read CMM reports generated from parts that were ran through production to ensure quality standards and specs are being met
• Dress and set tools for the CNC machines
• Operate multiple machines
• Perform Daily 5S (Cleaning)
• Conduct daily machine visual inspections and ensure coolant levels are adequate.
• Other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

knowledge: Basic reading and math skills (minimum of 8th grade level) GED or High School Diploma required, and 1 to 3 years in Manufacturing Experience.

Abilities: Manufacturing Quality, Controls and Instrumentation, Mechanical Inspection Tools.

Skills: Decision Making, Problem Solving, Job Knowledge, understands copy exact requirements, experience with OSHA compliance.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
