CDL Driver

BelFlex is partner with a company in Columbus, OH That is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class B CDL Box Truck Driver to join their food manufacturing team. This position involves the local and regional delivery of food products to customers, distribution centers, and retail locations using a box truck.

• Drives box truck interstate and intrastate making deliveries and pick-ups.
• Loads and unloads vehicle safely using pallet jack and hand truck/dolly.  Verifies items and quantities transferred and notates discrepancies.
• Adheres to all road and traffic regulations.  Maintains all required DOT and other certifications including Class B CDL and medical card.  Completes driving log and other documentation as required.
• Keeps vehicle clean and organized at all times.
• Follows routes and timetables provided.
• Delivers notices and collects signatures and payments when warranted.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Education/Experience – one year of related experience or training.
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card.
• Language – ability to communicate effectively.
• Computer Skills – no computer skills needed.
• Supervisory Responsibility – no supervisory responsibilities.
• Physical Demands – employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Climate – extreme cold (non-weather & weather) to extreme heat (weather).
• Noise – moderate.
