Assembly Worker
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday)
Job Summary: This role involves assembling standard products according to engineering instructions or bill of materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficiency. The successful candidate will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, gluing, and packaging of products. In addition, this role requires performing repairs on products and sub-assemblies as per provided documentation, while inspecting each for workmanship and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical products per engineering instructions or bill of materials.
- Perform gluing, packaging, and final product assembly tasks.
- Repair products and sub-assemblies according to documentation specifications.
- Inspect products and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Accurately complete all job-related paperwork including work order forms, material reject reports, inspection reports, and stockroom requisition forms.
- Enter data into tracking systems for inventory and production purposes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications:
- Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and assembly instructions.
- Proficient in basic hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines and practices.
