The Assembler performs a combination of paced repetitive tasks using automated and/or manual tooling to assemble components in a mass production environment. May also be responsible for performing tasks associated with manual material handling
Position: Assembly/Production Operator
Reports To: Supervisor/Team Leads
Location/Department: Edelbrock East/ Department 6101
- Day Shift
- Overtime and Saturday’s work may be required
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Must be able to use all required tools
- Must be able to perform fast paced repetitive tasks
- Must be able to grip and grasp small items
- Must have good communication skills
- Must understand and use the four basic arithmetic functions
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be physically able to exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10lbs of force frequently
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist at waste level and lift from floor level.
Responsibilities:
- Meets all quality standards in performing assigned tasks.
- Follow all processes and written assembly instructions, drawings, schematics and document and report any discrepancies between actual and documented process.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience or solid work history
- Basic Math Skills a must
