The individual will spend time each day creating “kits” of fasteners for our industrial customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Locating the necessary fasteners, pulling them from their location
· Processing these fasteners to the correct specifications
· Locating and pulling the correct quantities required for order.
· Packaging these items needed for customer fulfillment into a container as a kit.
· Moving packaged kits to their respective areas.
· Removing previous day’s kits and returning goods to warehouse
· Locating and retrieving the necessary fasteners in inventory daily and as required
· Perform physical counts and record locations of fasteners in inventory
· Inspect incoming goods for damage and count accuracy
· Maintaining a clean and organized workspace within the storage buildings
· Assisting with locating and storing of tooling when time permits
Entry Level Qualifications and Requirements:

· Committed to delivering results; being solutions oriented; having good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
· Proficient written and verbal communication skills
· Good judgment and decision-making skills
· Able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks in an unsupervised manner
· Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English
· Must have reliable attendance
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Good PC skills are necessary. Organizational skills and effective communication skills are also necessary. Able to deal with customers on an oral and written level and problem solve. Requires relationship building and follow-up.
