Forklift Operator – West Columbus, OH

Pay Rate: $19.50/hr
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday through Thursday, 4:30am to 3:30pm
(Next week schedule: off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday instead)
Location: West Columbus, OH

Job Summary

BelFlex Staffing Network is now hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our client in West Columbus. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with competitive pay and long-term potential.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies

  • Load and unload trucks, verifying counts against packing lists

  • Transfer materials to mixers, ovens, or staging areas as directed

  • Complete production and forklift paperwork accurately

  • Use RF scanning equipment to track and record warehouse movements

  • Assist with general warehouse duties such as batching, labeling, scrap removal, and housekeeping

  • Follow all company safety policies, including PPE use

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months recent forklift experience (sit-down or stand-up)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hot/cold, dusty environment

  • Must be clean-shaven and able to properly wear a respirator at all times

  • Must be dependable with strong attendance record

  • Comfortable with basic math and reading production paperwork

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Pre-employment drug screen and physical required
