ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

Performs cleaning tasks such as, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and waxing floors; operating industrial cleaning, scrubbing, and buffing machines; cleaning and dusting furniture, fixtures, equipment, and appliances

Collects and properly disposes of refuse and waste

Unloads, moves, and stores supplies and materials

Assembles, moves, and arranges office furniture, equipment, appliances, and fixtures

Cleans culverts and ditches

Properly uses industrial cleaning chemicals

May operate forklift

Maintains neat and orderly work area

May be assigned additional tasks as needs require

Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures and regulations

Eliminates waste by following practices involved with the Lean Manufacturing Process

Maintains acceptable productivity levels

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal instruction

PHYSICAL ABILITIES REQUIRED

Constantly stands, walks, bends, and moves while performing custodial tasks

Constantly uses arms, hands, and fingers to reach for, handle, and grasp parts, tools, cleaning equipment, and other materials

Regularly lifts, pushes, pulls, grips, and moves up to 15 pounds; frequently lifts, pushes, pulls, grips, and moves up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lifts, pushes, pulls, grips, and moves up to 40 pounds with assistance
