Location: Mason, OH
Pay: $28–$40/hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift
1st shift Monday- Friday 5a-2:30p OT as needed / weekends as needed
2nd shift Monday- Friday 2p-10:30p OT as needed / weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production line equipment to minimize downtime.

Inspect, service, and overhaul electromechanical and solid-state electrical systems using a variety of diagnostic tools and equipment.

Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Install new electrical and electronic equipment, wiring, conduit, and controls in compliance with the National Electrical Code and company standards.

Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems supporting production equipment and facilities.

Perform high-voltage switching, generator operations, and system troubleshooting.

Diagnose electrical hazards, isolate circuits, and prepare systems for safe repair.

Maintain and troubleshoot motor control centers, PLCs, variable frequency drives, control loops, relays, and related systems.

Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals to complete installations and repairs.

Assist in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs, updating technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Support additional maintenance activities as assigned.
Qualifications
-
3–5 years of industrial or commercial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a high-speed production environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage switchgear, protective relaying, grounding, PLCs, and VFDs.

Advanced mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.

Proficient in reading blueprints and technical manuals.

Skilled in using diagnostic tools, including multimeters, safely and accurately.

Ability to work in varied conditions (cold, damp, or wet environments).

Must supply personal tools required for the role.

Flexibility to work unscheduled hours during emergencies or unusual situations (24/7 availability when needed).

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Computer/software knowledge with basic programming skills a plus.
Work Environment
-
Active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.

Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Work performed in a cold, damp, food processing facility; employees are expected to remain in these conditions for extended periods.
