Belflex has partnered with a local company and is looking for Stright truck drivers
Overview:
We’re hiring a dependable Straight Truck Driver (Non-CDL) to support our DC power installation projects across Nebraska. This role is critical to ensuring timely delivery of batteries, racks, cabling, and installation equipment to telecom, utility, and cable TV sites. Candidates must be physically capable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in fast-paced infrastructure environments.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage ($18-$20) DOE + paid travel expenses
  • Expenses paid for overnight travel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a straight truck to transport DC power system components
  • Load/unload heavy equipment using pallet jacks, dollies, and manual handling
  • Lift and maneuver up to 80 lbs repeatedly during shifts
  • Maintain delivery logs and coordinate with project managers and field techs
  • Support basic site prep or staging tasks when needed (construction background a plus)
  • Travel overnight within Nebraska to meet project schedules
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL)
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Clean driving record (no traffic violations)
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check
  • Physically fit and accustomed to heavy lifting
  • Familiarity with construction or infrastructure job sites

Preferred Experience:
  • Prior work in telecom, utility, or cable TV infrastructure
  • Experience handling stationary batteries, racks, or DC power components a plus
  • Use of pallet jacks, dollies, and basic freight handling tools
