BelFlex Staffing is seeking multiple Production Associates for a busy sheet metal fabrication facility. We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • 2 Grinders / Polishers

  • 2 General Machine Operators

  • 2 General Assembly Associates

  • 1 TIG Welder

These are temp-to-hire opportunities with long-term career potential for reliable and motivated individuals.

? Job Summary:

Production Associates are responsible for fabricating sheet metal products using various equipment and tools. This includes assisting with setup, operation, and inspection of parts and machinery.

?? Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment such as spot welders, presses, and shearers

  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and removing sheet metal components

  • Load, stack, and transport materials and products by hand or with a forklift

  • Use overhead cranes and slings to move heavy dies

  • Clean, grind, and scrape metal prior to fabrication or welding

  • Inspect parts using blueprints or other documentation

  • Remove and transport scrap materials

  • Keep work area, tools, and machines clean and safe

More experienced candidates may also:

  • Perform manual finishing of metal parts using grinders and hammers

  • Develop operational sequences for fabrication processes

  • Set up fabricating machines (press brakes, cutters, drills, etc.)

? Job Requirements:

  • Relevant experience based on the role (grinding, polishing, TIG welding, machine operation, or general assembly)

  • Resume and completed application worksheet required

  • Ability to lift and transport materials safely

  • Strong attention to detail and safety procedures

  • Ability to read and follow blueprints or production documents (preferred)
