Experienced Sewers & Upholsterers

  • Location: Clayton, NC

  • Shift: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:30pm | Friday 7:00am–11:00am (may work until 3:30pm if needed)

  • Pay: Starting at $16.16/hr+ (based on experience)

About the Role

We’re looking for skilled Sewers & Upholsterers to join a leading manufacturer in Clayton, NC. If you have an eye for detail, pride in your craftsmanship, and experience with industrial sewing or upholstery, this is your chance to turn your skills into a long-term career.

What You’ll Do

  • Sew fabric, leather, and vinyl covers for seating products using industrial sewing machines (single stitch, double stitch, serge, tunnel tie).

  • Upholster chairs, sofas, and loveseats with precision and care.

  • Read and follow detailed work orders and blueprints.

  • Inspect products to ensure durability, quality, and accuracy.

  • Use hand tools and power tools for upholstering tasks.

  • Maintain efficiency and meet production goals.

  • Support a safe, clean, and team-oriented work environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sewing, upholstery, or related textile work (furniture, automotive, industrial).

  • Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and upholstering tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Physical ability to lift 50–70 lbs and perform standing/bending tasks.

  • Team player who values safety, quality, and growth.
