1st shift. Monday-Friday 5 a.m.-3 p.m. With overtime when needed. (45-55 hours weekly)
Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities:
- Supervises and performs highly diversified duties with respect to production and facility equipment/systems.
- Responsible for and maintains Ammonia refrigeration systems
- Responsible for and maintains WWTP to operate within company standards.
- Responsible for and maintains all aspects of building and grounds.
- Enforces all company safety, quality and GMP policies.
- Responsible for all maintenance recordkeeping in assigned area.
- Manages outside contractors to perform repairs on failed machinery and equipment.
- Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas, and the alignment and leveling of equipment.
- Provides leadership for Maintenance technicians performing preventative maintenance, equipment installs, parts replacement, troubleshooting equipment, etc.
- Determines root causes of equipment failures.
- May be required to work long hours and weekends as needed.
- May assume other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required
- Must have ammonia, refrigeration, electrical and wastewater treatment plant experience.
- Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial, PLC and HVAC experience
- AAS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Good math skills
- Display strong work ethics and positive attitude
- Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary, and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
