BelFlex is looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator in New Albany, IN!

Candidates will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures including platforms, mezzanines, handrails, and stairs, working directly from technical blueprints and engineering drawings.

Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $20-$25, depending on experience
Temp to Hire

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Use cutting torches, CNC machinery, and welding equipment to fabricate parts
  • Perform high-precision metal cutting, grinding, and shaping
  • Weld and assemble components using MIG, TIG, and Stick techniques as required
  • Inspect welds and finished structures to ensure quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet fabrication specifications
  • Maintain safety protocols and clean work environment at all times
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in metal or structural fabrication
  • Proficiency with welding and fabrication tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and work from complex blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Good problem-solving and mechanical skills
  • Steel-toe boots required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
