Mechanic
Location Grove city
1st shift 5am -3:30pm
$19.00 and up depending on your experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate the suspension programs to include Liquid Spring and Monroe Suspension programs.
- Coordinate all Chassis modification duties working closely with Mounting Supervisor
- Assist with the company welding certification program to include and conducting welding certification tests as requested.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Receive and inspect dealer supplied chassis. - Key and vehicle assignment duties, and coordination of all chassis control functions.
- Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
Qualifications/Training:
- Valid Ohio drivers license
- Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.
- Must be familiar with the safe operation of various tools – drill, screw gun, sander, jig saw, etc
- Ability to analyze and evaluate a situation a plus.
- Ability to interact with various levels of personnel and functional areas.
- Setting work priorities.
- Working independently in the absence of supervision.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to perform critical analysis desired.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Education and Experience:
- One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
