Great opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in Evandale, OH

Hours are 6a-2:30p Monday-Friday
$22.00 per hour


Responsibilities for Maintenance Mechanic: Respond to machine down calls for immediate troubleshooting of breakdown, report to maintenance Manager, start dialogue with production on the issue found, and probable solutions necessary to return the machine to production as soon as possible and do it safely. When machines are running, the mechanic will divert his or her attention to assigned projects and or daily responsibilities as assigned. It is the responsibility of each mechanic to perform his or her duties within the boundaries of safety and learned experience for best resolution of any issue. If any mechanic feels they are out of their experienced knowledge or boundaries, it is their duty to contact their manager or more experienced mechanic for assistance and use that opportunity to learn as much as possible for future repairs.


KEY OBJECTIVES/TOP PERFORMANCE RESULTS EXPECTED:


•              Meet each morning with supervisor to go over the day’s objectives and goals.
•              Responsible for helping production needs by making repairs safely and in a timely manner.
•              Deploy good troubleshooting methods to quickly determine the root cause of failure so the repair issue is completed with longevity in mind.
•              Make sure you have received the proper training for your job and understand your duties as laid out by management.
•              Work closely with production personnel and management so that any issue you are working on that will affect production are known and discussed before removing a machine from production. Safety issues require immediate response and action are necessary. Immediately report safety issues and lockouts to your manager and production.
•              Analyzes and resolve problems or assist workers in solving problems. Explain to operators how to avoid issues in the future through good operating practices.
•              Willing to jump in and help the team members that are struggling.
•              Keep and manage repair records in CMMS when it is implemented.
•              Have a mechanical aptitude to safely, effectively, and quickly repair fabricate and trace issues to eliminate time needed for repairs
•              Confirm all safety and OSHA standards are in place and being followed
