Lab Technician (Textile Industry) – 3rd Shift | $20.25/hr
Kernersville, NC |  3rd Shift: 12AM – 8AM (Must train on 1st shift)
Starting Pay: $20.25/hr

Are you detail-oriented with strong math skills? Looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic environment? Join our team as a Lab Technician and play a key role in quality control for a leading textile company!

What You’ll Do:
  • Test incoming, finished, and coated fabric to meet customer and company specs.
  • Operate and verify lab equipment, including Instron machines and load cells.
  • Conduct special tests as assigned by the QA or Lab Manager.
  • Report test results accurately and promptly to keep production running smoothly.
  • Communicate out-of-spec results to operators and supervisors immediately.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment—know emergency procedures for spills and fires.
  • Learn urethane coating requirements, adhesion tests, and fabric specs.
  • Be cross-trained in another area to stay productive during slow periods.
What You Need:
  • 2-3 years of experience in textiles, lab testing, or quality control.
  • Must pass a math test (accuracy is key!).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • A safety-conscious mindset and willingness to learn.
