Janitor

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Empty and clean trash containers, refill paper dispensers, wash walls, windows, and blinds. Prepare floors for crew to strip, including cleaning, buffing, and applying floor sealer. 
• Operate and maintain assigned power equipment, hand tools, and buffers in a safe and effective manner. Perform outdoor maintenance tasks, including removing snow or debris from sidewalks and stairs using hand-operated tools or small power equipment. 
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, monitor usage, and notify management of any restocking needs to ensure that adequate supplies are available. 
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor damage, and supporting the maintenance team with other facility upkeep as needed.
