1st Shift Operations Team Lead 
Erlanger KY 

Pay rate – up to $20/hour depending on prior experience 
SHIFT- 
Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri, 6am – 4:30am

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Operations Warehouse Lead position oversees all warehouse daily operation. You will focus on department production and work to meet customers’ daily requirements and quotas. This includes allocation of labor, releasing/assigning work, monitoring of breaks and active attendance tracking for the department assigned that day, etc.

Essential Functions:
 

  • E-Com, Wholesale, IC and Replenishment department
  • Oversight of production and order monitoring
  • Monitoring all open orders and adjusting as needed.
  • Overall labor allocation for operation.
  • Picker/Packer/Sorter assignments
  • Production Reporting
  • Flex between departments as needed.
  • Cover/Assist with any and all roles as needed.
  • Work on expanding knowledge of other departments/cross t rain.
  • Assist in establishing and assigning work priorities within the department/ area.
  • Inspects, coordinates and records work performed by the department/area.
  • Assists in resolving on-the-job technical questions/ issues.
  • Advise Manager of quality, on-going, or unusual problems.
  • Serve as an example to other employees by consistently demonstrating work habits that model and contribute to teamwork, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure effective execution of Company goals.
  • Ensure operations adheres to OSHA guidelines.
  • Safety: Observe all safety rules and regulations; exercise care and good judgment to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Additional Safety: Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately to leadership.
  • Housekeeping: Implement and follow 6S rules for workstation and other common areas in the facility
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment with mindful thoughts and actions in housekeeping habits (i e. picking-up paper, debris, etc. in work
area, aisles, and common employee areas as you move through the facility   and properly collect and dispose of waste following established guidelines).

Skills and Abilities:
 
  • Advanced technical abilities.
  • Experience with MS products including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to operate RF (Radio Frequency) systems.
  • Ability to effectively relate with others and cooperate as a team member.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently and set priorities.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, leadership skills, and exhibits desired strengths: determination, loyalty, poise, and confidence.
  • Must be able to load and unload trailers.
  • Work autonomously and maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Reliable, with a good work attendance history.
  • Possess a positive attitude with a work ethic of the highest degree.


Education and Training:
 
  • 2 years’ experience in a distribution center/warehouse or equivalent environment preferred.
  • Experienced Equipment Operator
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory transactions, cycle counts and material movement preferred.
  • Proficient with D365 applications and functions
  • Proficient using MS Office applications as well as applications specific to field Knowledge with WMS programs and Word, etc.
