Vendor Master Data Specialist

Responsibilities include supplier verification, requesting supporting documentation from the supplier, supplier risk management, creating new supplier records in Oracle ERP, and making changes to existing records. The Vendor Master Data Specialist (Temporary Role) will also assist with integration of Procurement and Supplier Master administration data and processes into SAP from Oracle ERP as needed.
Duties
· Interacts with suppliers by phone and/or email, when requesting supporting information or following up for supplier record setups/changes.
· Works with Accounts Payable and Requesters for new supplier setups to mitigate invoice issues in a timely manner
· Maintains a high level of quality and compliance with regards to all aspects of Procurement
Must Have/Required
· Bachelor’s degree with 2-3+ years procurement/buying experience, ideally in the biotech/pharma industry
· Proven ability to establish priorities, work independently and execute objectives without supervision
· Strong collaboration and technical skills
· Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills
· Experience in a high growth environment. Able to quickly traverse between strategic and detail-oriented operational topics.
· Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing needs and timelines
· Analytical, with strong problem-solving skills
· Oracle Fusion and SAP experience
