BelFlex Staffing Network has partnered with an established company that has recently opened a facility in the Sheridan area. This is fast pace work, requires standing for long periods 8 hour shifts, overtime may be required We offer benefits on day one and weekly pay!  . These are 2nd shift and 3rd shift assignments. They are temp to hire!
TITLE:  Utility/Stacker

SUMMARY

The Utility/Stacker performs duties to inspect and pack product from the production lines.  The Utility /Stacker is responsible for maintaining housekeeping for the area and to follow all safety rules. This position reports to the Production Supervisor but can also take direction from the QC Operator assigned to the area.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:

1.       Packing product that meets specific dimensional criteria from the production lines onto pallets and within established productivity guidelines.

2.       Periodically inspects the product using a tape measure and dial caliper.

3.       Completes appropriate paperwork for production and quality purposes.

4.       Communicates with other production operators regarding order status, construction and quality.

5.       Assists other Point Operators by strapping skids and moving empty/completed skids from work area using pallet jacks.

6.       Assist the Roll Operator while in an upset condition or equipment is not in operation.

7.       Follows all safety rules and wears required personal protective equipment.

8.       Maintains housekeeping in the area by moving scrap material to baler and sweeping and removing debris.

9.       Physical demand includes standing 100% of the time.  Continuously pick up product that weighs up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds and load on pallet.  Activity requires lifting, twisting, stooping and bending.  

10.   Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
