Opportunity:
The Regional Yard Manager is responsible for the supervision of the local yard manager who would oversee all receiving, production and shipping building materials for the entire state of Texas. The Regional Yard Manager will also oversee the startup of new yards within the respective market. The right candidate would also ensure all yards are compliant with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Department of Transport (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
Day to Day
- Consistently communicates with customers and Operations Leadership.
- Work closely with sales team on order issues and resolution to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Support local management with order accuracy as needed.
- Audit inventory status and supply usage.
- Partner with HR Department and Safety team to ensure all people issues or concerns are resolved in a timely manner.

- Ability to anticipate, analyze and proactively solve problems.
- Previous Lumber or Construction experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills; detailed and accurate
- Ability to anticipate, analyze and proactively solve problems.
- Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet varied and conflicting organization demands.
- At least 3-5 years if experience in a high level and/or Regional Management position.
