Position: Quality Technician Lead
Location: Vandalia, Ohio
Pay: Starting at $20 per hour (pay range potentially higher with experience)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Job Description:
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring quality? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Quality Technician Lead . As a Quality Technician Lead, you will play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Perform various tests and measurements to evaluate product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
2. Documentation:
- Maintain meticulous records of inspection and testing results.
- Document any deviations from established quality standards and promptly report them to management.
3. Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement.
- Offer valuable recommendations and suggestions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
4. Non-Conformance Management:
- Identify and document non-conforming products or processes.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions to address issues and prevent their recurrence.
5. Quality Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports summarizing inspection and testing results, quality trends, and key metrics.
- Present findings to management and relevant stakeholders, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain.
- Address quality-related concerns and actively promote a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using quality measurement tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and processes is a plus.
- Pass drug test and background requirements
