Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of each project from conception to deliverable. Position is the information center for internal and external customers. The Project Manager will work closely with Sales, Design, Manufacturing and the Customer to ensure successful completion of the project.

A typical day includes:    creating project and timeline system, maintaining and communicating schedules for each project, developing and maintaining daily/weekly project status reports, communicating project status at weekly production meeting.   Must be able to maintain open communication between all team members at all times and communicate issues and risks to management.

Building relationships with customers through coordination and communication is key as well as managing projects coordinating with internal and external customers to ensure quality work is being completed within the required timeframes

Minimum Qualifications:

PMP certification 

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Experience in resource and timeline modeling to forecast project requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficient in Excel and Word; project management software is preferred

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Ability to lead a project from concept to completion

1. Highly organized and able to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.

2. Incredibly effective communicator to both the team and the customer. Will need to be able to put pressure on the team to maintain deadlines and hold people accountable. Communicate issues to management. Communicate timelines and expectations to team and customer. This role will be the main point of contact for our customers once sales has handed the project off.

3. OWN projects from start to finish, including working with service to close out install items. Attend weekly production meetings and provide insight into every project status – on track / slipping / stuck with reasons and solutions to get on track.

4. Does not need to be a technical expert, but it would be very helpful to have a technical background.

5. Provide schedule information to customers. Schedule and run FATs. Document any open items from FATs and communicate them to closure. Perform project close out meetings for lessons learned.
