Production Associate

BelFlex Staffing Network is looking for full-time Production Associate for a manufacturing supplier in Indianapolis, IN.

The Benefits in this role as a Production Associate are:

• $16.50/hr
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30pm 
• Contract-to-hire
• Weekly pay

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for performing manual and machine supported tasks to fill, inspect, assemble, cap, freeze, label, and/or package PPG and/or non-PPG products.
• Manually fills and/or operates filling equipment for type of product and sizes of containers specified. 
• Assembles components in proper sequence using appropriate devices/equipment. 
• Visually inspects assemblies/mix freeze for proper fit of components, operates test jigs, and/or records readings of results.
• Labels tubes, or containers, applies labels to boxes, cans, pails, etc. 
• Puts packaged product into boxes, seals boxes by manually applying tape or operating a taping machine.
• Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.  

In the Production Associate, the following requirements must be met:

• Must have at least one year of directly applicable experience and/or a combination of directly applicable education and/or experience preferred.
• Must be able to multi-task and learn various manufacturing processes. 
• Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.  Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. 
• Must be able to effectively manipulate multiple hand tasks simultaneously with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use and wear the appropriate PPE equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
