BelFlex Staffing Network  is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist for a Direct Hire position located in Blue Ash, Ohio.
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll and maintaining the HRIS regarding salary and pay.  This position will report to the Human Resources Director.
 
Position Description (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):
  • Evaluate and enter personnel related information into the Payroll system including individual employee information, pay rate changes, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.
  • Evaluate and enter Payroll system information from spreadsheets including commissions and bonuses.
  • Create commission spreadsheets bi-weekly.
  • Respond to inquiries pertaining to individual paychecks.
  • Prepare various reports on quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.
  • Administer mass payroll changes including changes to deductions for benefits, general increases, bonuses, etc.
  • Complete audit requests
  • Complete incentive reports for various states.
  • Set up local and state taxes.
  • Verify withholding and request checks for payment of child support, garnishments, levies, etc., to third parties.
  • Handle distribution of W-2s.
 
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
 High school Diploma
  • Strong knowledge of payroll related practices included taxes and withholding
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll administration
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Intermediate level Excel Skills
