This is a Direct Hire position for someone who is proactive, driven, and adaptable, capable of swiftly and adeptly handling various challenges and prospects.
In this role, you’ll be utilizing your sales, marketing, and customer service expertise to handle industrial and commercial accounts, specifically dealing with metal purchases.
Working alongside a national account representative, you’ll gain valuable insights into the business and customer base. The position is akin to that of an “inside/outside sales representative,” necessitating similar skill sets.
To succeed, you must be willing to travel both regionally and nationally, primarily serving existing accounts situated in the Ohio Valley, Southern, and Eastern regions.
- Knowledge of metals, metal processing, and/or scrap processing industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and opportunity-seeking attitude, with a focus on customer service skills.
- Previous marketing/customer service experience is highly desired but not a strict requirement, as necessary training will be provided.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, such as in customer service, hospitality, or brand promotion, will be advantageous for your progression in this position.
- Availability to travel, both by car and by plane, which may involve overnight stays.
