Metal Handler
BelFlex Staffing is looking for a Metal Handler for our Fountain Inn client
Shift – 730-400pm M-F
Pay rate: $15.16hr
Our client is one of the country’s leading suppliers to contractors of commercial and industrial sheet metal ductwork with an extensive line of round, flat oval, and rectangular ductwork and related items, such as acoustical products and sealants. We have five plants nationwide.
The Associate will handle, move load/unload, pack/unpack all sheet metal materials, parts and products, handle fiberglass insulation, glue, seal, and paint products, operate a forklift, and janitorial duties.
Work hours are 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Some overtime work required.
Worker is responsible for loading, unloading, packing/unpacking products and materials Manually or with forklift, assist with operation of and maintaining machinery/equipment
Primary Job Tasks
- Operate Forklift
- clean plant facilities
- assist in routine maintenance on equipment
- manually load raw material or inside product onto trucks or pick locations
- use various hand tools
- help where needed
- wrap and tape insulation
- Glue or paint product
Qualifications include: ability to read a tape measure and shop orders; ability to read and understand English; and able to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED preferred.
Bill Rate 47% straight time/ 43% overtime
